Absence policy
Regular attendance is considered as vital if all pupils are to gain the most from the opportunities Pleckgate High School Mathematics & Computing College has to offer. The school employs Home School Liaison Co-ordinators who contact parents about absentees. The telephone number for reporting a pupil's absence is 01254 244327. Parents are discouraged from arranging holidays outside the official school holiday dates. A copy of the school’s Absence Policy is given to all parents. The Home School Liaison Co-ordinators and the Learning Managers also liaise with the Education Welfare Officer to ensure that our pupils are not absent without genuine reason.
