Key Stage 4:
GCSE Business is a double GCSE across the range A*A* to GG. It consists of 3 units of equal weighting:
Unit 1 - Investigating Business
Unit 2 - People in Business
Unit 3 - Business Finance
Units 1 and 2 are wholly portfolio work based on two local businesses which is internally assessed and externally moderated, Unit 3 is an external exam.
Pupils have the opportunity to visit businesses to find out how they operate as part of their portfolio work. Pupils also work to strict deadlines as they would in the real world of business.
