Comic Relief Day 2009
Some say that Friday 13th is unlucky but not for the staff and pupils at Pleckgate who managed to raise over £1,100 for Red Nose Day 2009. Pupils and staff did 'something funny for money' by donating money to wear 'funny' ties or no ties at all!! Other fundraising events also included staff and pupils telling jokes at lunchtime, a Comic Relief 'guess the celebrity' competition and a few individuals who decided to undertake a sponsored silence. Thank you to everyone who contributed in making this day a great success and well done again for showing your enthusiasm and commitment to Pleckgate's charity events.
