International Success
Hundreds of pupils and parents gathered in the school hall on Thursday 1st July for a celebration of sport, music and dance as part of our International Week of charity activity to support the 'Send my Friend to School' campaign and the African Educational Trust.
The World Cup came to Pleckgate as our tutor groups faced each other on the all weather pitch, supported by a large crowd of staff and students. Meanwhile, teams also competed at rounders and dodgeball.
Our pupils then took to the stage to perform poetry readings, dance routines and to show their skills in the final of 'Pleckgate's Got Talent' - our own version of the hit TV show.
Headteacher, Mr Campbell, said 'It was a wonderful night and it was fantastic to see so many pupils and parents enjoying themselves'.
