Once again the summer GCSE results showed some outstanding performances both individually and across subject areas. 47% of pupils achieved 5+ higher grades (A*-C) including English and Maths (just below the national average). 59% of all pupils achieved 5+ higher grades with 100% A* - C grades (or equivalent) in BTEC Sport, Statistics, Music and CIDA (ICT).
Achievement across the ability range was OUTSTANDING with 99% of all pupils achieving 5+ A* - G grades and every single pupil achieved some form of qualification. This is a remarkable level of pupil achievement particularly when the starting points for some pupils are taken into consideration. Click here for a summary of the KS4 results.
