International School Award (ISA)
BECTA ICT Award
International School Award
The ISA recognises our work carried out over the last year for developing the International Dimension across the curriculum. Many of you will remember our successful International Week last February (see separate news section) and the range of visits that took place during the year. This award recognises a whole team approach as we seek to develop our young people as global citizens. Mr Campbell was invited to a ceremony in London to receive the International Award on behalf of the school from BBC Newscaster George Alagiah.
BECTA ICT Award
The BECTA ICT award was presented in recognition of
the school's work in using ICT to enhance teaching and learning. Once again a team effort ensured that the good practice that exists here is recognised and demonstrates our forward thinking approach to both planning an up to date ICT infrastructure and how it can be used to raise standards.
